Emily's First (American) Football Match

After school today, Emily went to watch her school's American football team play against another local middle school's team. The photos and video are all courtesy of Emily. The photos are all of the team, but the video is of the cheerleaders (although no matter how many times I watch it, I can't make out what they're saying).

It sounds like the cheerleaders are repeating the following:

"Sorry. D - E - F-E-N-S-E. Defense is on its way, sorry."

It would be an appropriate cheer when the other team gets the ball (after a punt or turnover, say).

I forgot a "today" after "on its way".

Thanks. It does seem to sound like that. This makes sense as I think that their team was losing when they left (they had to leave the game early because the friend that she went with had a piano lesson).

Yes, it does sound like that, and it would make sense since it was such a bad game, our team lost by about 35 points.

liked the way you put the pictures
of the footballers that Emily took
with the camra. Why didn't you put
the video clip of the cheerleaders
on it?
