When I first met Gordon in the early 80's (81) and made my first visit north, it was a novelty to even see a Christmas tree in the window. If there was one, it was hidden away.<br />London is a great place at Christmas. I was brought up in London, Westminster and Paddington, so have wonderful memories of the Christmas lights down Regent Street and Oxford Street plus the Christmas tree with carol singers at Trafalgar Square.<br />Hope you have a good trip home, wish we could make more regular trips home but 18 hours to just get there, tends to dampen the desire and then the price of the tickets.Jacquihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06016343780777256307noreply@blogger.com
